about

The music was written by Peter Somerville for banjo,it was written as a "breakdown" style banjo Bluegrass tune.
I came up with the whacky idea that Matt should put some lyrics to it.
The result is Black Ice, a song about too much going on in too little time!

lyrics

Roll em' up it's another day
Where to start with no time to think
All the little bits
have got to go together big
The work shop is busted
and there's no time to say

Pushin' pushin
All push to get over the rise
Pushin' pushin
All push to get over the rise

It's just like that Black Ice
It's hard to tell which way to win
Slip and slide and scratch for your grip
It's up and over is the only way yeah.
